Corinne Kruse currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Reinsurance Claims and Recoveries at Zurich American Insurance Company. She has worked at Zurich for fifteen years in various reinsurance management functions. She manages a team of lawyers, claims and accounting professionals, supervises reinsurance recoveries for Zurich globally, manages facultative loss recoveries and is a Lean Black Belt candidate facilitating operational improvements within the organization. Prior to joining Zurich, Corinne held senior leadership roles at Lumberman’s Mutual Casualty Company, CNA Financial Company, Broker’s Risk Placement Service and ISBA Mutual Insurance Co. ranging from legal counsel, claims counsel and claims manager. Corinne obtained her law degree at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois and her B.A. in Economics and International Relations at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Corinne serves on the Board of Directors of the industry association, International Association of Claim ProfessionalsIACP) and serves on the Board of various non-profit associations. Apart from spending her career in the insurance industry, Corinne has a enjoyed a “healthy” hobby of wine appreciation and is Certified Sommelier.
