Biography
From November 2006 through September 2023 I led Travelers' Reinsurance Legal Group with responsibility for all reinsurance disputes (ceded and assumed) and certain responsibilities relative to commutation, contract wording, regulatory and transactional issues. From 2018 through 2023 I also led the Company's Assumed Reinsurance Claims Organization with oversight of Travelers' legacy assumed reinsurance run-off obligations. I served for many years as a member and officer of the ARIAS Board of Directors, including a one-year term as Chair. Prior to joining Travelers I was a litigator, trial lawyer and adjunct faculty member of the University of Connecticut School of Law.
