Anna Rozin is a Vice President and underwriter in the M&A Group at AIG, where she underwrites transactional insurance products, including representations and warranties insurance.  Prior to joining AIG, Anna was an associate at Ropes & Gray, LLP in the firm’s Private Equity group, advising private investment firms, corporations and financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, restructurings and general corporate matters.  Ms. Rozin received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.

Representations and Warranties Insurance
The session will discuss the basics of Representations and Warranties Insurance (RWI), the nature of coverage provided by this product, and the recent growth in the use of RWI in transactions. The discussion will provide a broad overview of the types of issues that are common in claims by policyholders to the insurers under such policies (most of which have arbitration clauses). The panel will also discuss the claims process in the RWI claims investigation/adjustment and the types of arbitrators that parties may need to resolve disputed RWI claim issues.
